Bypass switch

Compact bypass switch, lockable, for bypassing bolt and cabin door contact

Bypass switch

Description

According to EN81-20 5.12.1.8, for maintenance activities on landing door, car door and door locking contacts, an electrical bypass facility must be available in the lift control system for emergencies and tests. This device has to be a switch protected against unintentional actuation by permanently installed mechanically movable means (e.g. cover), which complies with the requirements for an electrical safety device according to 5.11.2.
The compact W+W bypass switches are mounted on the DIN rail in the switch cabinet. The lockable cover prevents unintentional actuation.
