Fine gauge copper strand, acc. to VDE 0295, class 5.
Lead insulation: PVC.
Colour: green/yellow.
Self-extinguishing and flame retardant acc. to IEC 60332-1-2.
The materials used during manufacturing are cadmium free and silicone free.

Application in general

Application in lift construction

Flexible conductor.
Installation in tubes on, in and under the plaster and in closed installation conduits.
It is also possible to install it on cable channels or cable throughs, when it is used as equipotential conductor.
According to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

The conductor is used for the creation of an equipotential, e.g. between the machine frame, the car rails and other bigger metal surfaces, with the house earth.

The creation of the equipotential is normally the house electrician‘s job.

Take notice that the equipotential is not the same as the system earth. For this a cross section according to the current-carrying lead is sufficient.

For the system earthing of the landing doors we recommend the sheathed conductor type NYM. Certainly it is useful to create an equipotential at landing doors with larger dimensions or in industrial plants.
