RCB for monitoring electric circuit
The residual current circuit breaker, or RCD for short, is a protective device in power networks that disconnects the connected, monitored circuit from the rest of the power network if current leaves the monitored circuit in the wrong way.
It is normally installed in the fuse box, in addition to the overcurrent protection devices (miniature circuit breakers, fuses).
