Ladder Type 9 - TRI-KLAPP 95

Three-part pit folding ladder with floor fixation clamp and monitoring contact. Suitable for pits with a max. depth of 1.4m.

Ladder Type 9

Description

Three-part pit folding ladder (ladder type 9) with floor fixation clamp and monitoring contact for transverse or longitudinal mounting in the shaft pit.
The ladder can be folded by means of a chain and pull cords, which are within reach from the shaft entrance. Suitable for pits with a max. depth of 1.4m. In the unfolded state the ladder length adds up to 2.56m. The ladder has to be set up in the pit with an angle of 65°-75° according to EN 131, so a tilting backwards is avoided.
In the pit must be a STOP switch, which has to be operated before unfolding the ladder.

Advice

to the monitoring switch

Ladder ACCESSORY-SET-C

According to the EN81:1 or EN81:2 a monitoring switch is in principle not necessary.
Because the ladder could lie in an inclined way in narrow lift shafts when folding, if the ground lever mechanics are not reset, the folded position of the lowest ladder part is switch monitored. The monitoring is also recommended with the transverse mounting.

If the pit ladder is mounted retroactively together with a pit control box, we recommend ACCESSORY SET-C pit ladder installation, art.no. 78629.
