Construction flat travelling cable


Bare, finest gauge copper strand.
Leads 1mm² arranged in parallel groups.
Leads 0.5mm² twisted pair, shielded, covering degree approx. 85 %.

Lead insulation 1mm²: PVC, white with black numerical imprints.
Lead insulation 0.5mm²mm²: PVC, coloured

Sheath: PVC

The materials used in manufacture contain no silicone.

  • Travelling cable for lifts.
  • Flexible cable, at medium mechanical stress and freemoving.

Cable assembly


Optionally the cable can be assembled on both sides.
The insulation of both sides will be stripped off, the leads become fitted with wire end sleeves.
No extra charge for individual lengths between 10cm and 45cm.

If travelling cables frequently hit blunt edges due to the up and down motion, the product life can be negatively impacted. For this reason it is recommendable to effect the mounting in the shaft at a smooth uncovered concrete wall.
Deliverable as cut goods or as a 500m drum.

PVC flat travelling cable 24G1+4x(2x0,5)C, lead colour/no. according to VDE 0293, deliverable as ring max. 50m, for larger lengths it is necessary to roll the cable up on a drum, outer measure approx. 5.3 x 83.0mm, weight approx. 845kg/km, copper approx. 267.1 kg/km, suspension height 45m (see 'applications').

Cable assembly for the PVC travelling cable 24G1+4x(2x0,5)C (art.no. 051522). Without any further specifications the insulation of side A will be stripped off at a length of 30cm and side B at a length of 40cm, the leads become fitted with wire end sleeves.
